Nigeria to Host Aviation Africa Summit 2023

NAMA logoNigeria will host the Aviation Africa Summit & Exhibition in Abuja on September 13-14, 2023. The event, themed ‘Stepping Up for Business,’ will be the seventh edition and is organized by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in collaboration with Times Aerospace Events.

Key industry players, including IATA, AFCAC, ICAO, AFRAA, airline CEOs, DG CAA representatives, OEMs, Air Chiefs, and airport CEOs, will address critical aviation industry concerns during the summit. Additionally, stakeholders from air navigation service providers, accident investigation bureaus, business and charter operators, cargo airlines, ground handling companies, flight training organizations, and aviation service providers will participate.

The summit will emphasize the sustainability of the aviation industry in Africa and explore the continent’s role in producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Separate symposia will delve into aviation finance, business aviation, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities.

Capt. Musa Nuhu, Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority, extended a warm invitation to participants on behalf of the Nigerian government. This event will mark Nigeria’s first time hosting the Aviation Africa Summit, a platform for aviation professionals, stakeholders, officials, and suppliers to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities in African aviation. The summit typically includes conferences, exhibitions, and networking sessions showcasing the latest products and services in the aviation industry. Its goal is to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and business development within the African aviation community.
